DIMAPUR — The 113 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) RAJPUT formally welcomed new soldiers during a traditional welcome ceremony held at the Dimapur railway station on Friday.
An update from the organisation stated that the arrival of soldiers marked the successful culmination of the recruitment cycle initiated in November 2024 after intensive basic and advanced military training. With the welcome ceremony, it stated that the recruits have transitioned into active-duty soldiers in the service of the nation.

It further stated that the young soldiers have embarked on a path of discipline, service and commitment to national duty. It added that they would now undergo structured unit-level training to further enhance their operational readiness and integration into the battalion.
