Dimapur, July 4: Department of Youth Ministry, Sumi Baptist Church Zunheboto (SBCZ) observed the NBCC Youth Day on July 3 in all 11 sector prayer fellowships in Zunheboto town on the theme “Abundant life in relationship: Youth.”
Speaking as speaker at North Point Prayer Fellowship, Assistant Pastor, Kaliho, said the purpose of observing Youth Day was to exhibit talent among youth and to let youth have strong relationship with God. Exhorting the congregation that today many young don’t know the existence of parents because of misuse of social media, she encouraged the youth to have strong relationship with parents to live a healthy and harmonious life.
Toli Chophy, who spoke on the present youth culture, said youth are an asset to society and urged the gathering to contribute to the society through activities like cleanliness drive, charity to orphanage homes, hospital, churches and to the needy people.
The programme was chaired by Kiyekali Chishi, while a special presentation was made by youth fellowship and benediction was said by Khegholi.
