Zunheboto Government College undergoes AAA audit
The Academic and Administrative Audit (AAA) team visited Zunheboto Government College on April 14 as part of the state-level audit committee

The Academic and Administrative Audit team with the faculty
and staff of Zunheboto Government College, following their assessment and
interactions during the visit on April 14.
- KOHIMA — The Academic and Administrative Audit
(AAA) team, led by Dr. Watijungshi, retired Additional Director of Higher
Education as convenor, Dr. K. Nishena Nekha, Additional Director of Higher
Education, and Dr. Ketoukhrieu, IQAC coordinator of Kohima College, as members,
visited Zunheboto Government College on April 14 as part of the state-level
audit committee in preparation for the second cycle of the National Assessment
and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
- According to an update, the event began with a PowerPoint
presentation by H Jekugha Sema, Vice Principal of Zunheboto Government College,
during which he provided a report on the college profile and infrastructure
enhancement.
- This was followed by a presentation by Tiasunep Ozukum, IQAC
coordinator, on the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR), self-study report,
and the academic enhancement programmes and activities conducted under the
initiative of IQAC. Additionally, departmental reports from the last five years
were presented by the heads of all departments, including the college
librarian.
- The team also had separate meetings and interactions with
the alumni members, teaching faculty, student council, and non-teaching staff.
This was followed by a visit and verification of college facilities, such as
the library and ICT facilities, museum, computer room, classrooms, student
leaders, girls' common room, faculty room, laboratories, non-teaching staff
room, accounts section, washrooms, and various cells.
- An exit meeting was held with the principal, faculty,
non-teaching staff, and student leaders, where the team members shared their
key observations and provided recommendations and suggestions for the
improvement of the college.
