Dimapur, Oct. 8 (EMN): SDO (C) Sadar, Zunheboto, Ajit K Ranjanformally launched the Zunheboto district website, zunheboto.nic.in., at the monthly Zunheboto District Planning and Development Board meeting held on Oct. 8.
Ranjan said that the public can log in at the website and know details about the district. He also said that the details of the upcoming Ahuna cum mini-Hornbill to be held on November will also be updated.
The deputy commissioner, while encouraging all the civil societies to contribute to towards the Ahuna cum mini-Hornbill site, said that the area would be the window to the world for Zunheboto.
The agendas discussed at the meeting were registration of Green Club Zunheboto where the house accepted to forward it to the concerned department. An agenda was put forwarded for supply of 100 tons of ginger where it was decided that the agri. and allied departments will take up the issue. The CMO Zunheboto briefed the members on the recent measles and rubella that is going on at Zunheboto district.District transport officer Zunheboto highlighted on the ‘road safety awareness’ held on Oct. 5 and 6. The District Education Officer gave a power point presentation. Branch Manager, State Bank of India Zunheboto Branch also presented a power point presentation on, “Mass sensitization on fraud” and the activities of SBI Zunheboto. The next DPDB meeting will be held on Nov. 8.
