Dimapur, Jan. 10: With the repeat rise in number of travellers, District Statistical Officer (DSO), Zunheboto, Lhokiye apprised on the need of Nagaland State Transport (NST) bus service between Zunheboto and Mokokchung.
Speaking at the monthly Zunheboto District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting on January 9 in the DC’s conference hall under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman DPDB, T Roy, Lhokiye apprised the members on the need of NST bus service between Zunheboto and Mokokchung. After discussion, the house decided to forward the matter to the Transport department for approval.
SDO (C), Holohon Yepthomi, who is also the Assistant Returning Officer (ARO), highlighted the poll detailments for the forthcoming Town Council Election.
District Soil Conservation Officer (DSCO), Zhekheto Awomi, spoke on Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) conducted by KVK, Lumami, and requested all Agri and Allied departments to attend such programme.
Medical Superintendent of District Hospital has been asked to highlight the departmental activities in the next meeting.
A meeting in connection with forthcoming Republic Day celebration was also held wherein work distributions among various departments were chalked out. EAC, Kemciyile, informed that list of work distribution will be dispatched at the earliest and asked all heads of offices to comply with the assigned duties.
