Dimapur, June 17 (EMN): The establishment of the deputy commissioner of the Zunheboto district has requested organisers and stakeholders to publicise a major job fair that will be conducted on June 18 in Zunheboto.
The government's publicity agency, the department of Information and Public Relations (IPR), issued updates about the event in its Monday bulletin.
Deputy Commissioner Shanavas C was stated to have issued a circular reminding "stakeholders of the scheduled job fair, on June 18, Tuesday, in the town hall of Zunheboto town. The event will commence from 11:30 am, the IPR stated.
"They have been requested to create wide publicity to all the unemployed youth of Zunheboto district to come and avail this opportunity along with their personal documents," the IPR stated.
The job fair is to be conducted by capacity development institute Emporium Skill Training Institute.
Earlier, the IPR reported that the institute was a training partner of the department of Labour and Employment,
Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. The main objective of the programme is to train and provide employment to unemployed youths of Nagaland, the IPR had informed.
According to the IPR, the training fee is sponsored by the government of Nagaland as part of the flagship skill development scheme Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY). The PMKVY is a flagship skill development scheme of the ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.
The duration of the training will be three months. The updates informed that 100% placement would be given based on eligibility and merit for the following positions: Cabin crew members, airport ground staff, five star hotel associates, and cruise line (entry level attendants, associates).
The eligibility criteria are minimum class-12 or appeared; good communication skills; 18-30 years of age; and availability—candidates should be ready to relocate anywhere in India and overseas in accordance with requirements of companies, the updates stated.
Interested candidates were requested to bring their personal documents on the day of registration i.e., June 18, to the event, the IPR stated.
