Zuchobeni Tungoe, a well known Naga musician, has been crowned Miss Dimapur 2019 with Lovi Awomi as 1st runner-up and Nem Rose Merry 2nd runner-up.
Organised by Ethnic Group of Nagaland (EGoN), the pageant was held at Don Bosco Institute for Development & Leadership, Riverbelt colony in Dimapur on Sep. 7.
Principal of Hope Academy, Sashila Ozukum in her short speech encouraged the contestants with a note that the pageant is not just about looks and walks, but much more than that and urged them to make and stand in their decision as they go on.
The other individual subtitle winners include Miss Perfect 10 and Miss catwalk bagged by Lovi Awomi, Miss Photogenic and Style Icon bagged by Zuchobeni Tungoe, Miss Talented by Roselyn M Yanthan, Miss Congeniality by Nem Rose Merry, EGoN Fresh Face by Lucy Gangte, Miss Beautiful Hair by Prima Chettry and Best Ethnic Wear by Nenty Jamir.
The occasion was graced by Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur Kevekha Kevin Zehol as special guest and Sashila Ozukum as the special invitee.
The judges of this year’s Miss Dimapur contestwere Anjan Behara, Katrin Kinimi, Loreni Sophia and Imna Longchar.
