Kohima, Jan. 16 (EMN): Sechü Zubza Youth Organisation (SZYO) won the overall championship title of the four-day 50th anniversary of Western Angami ‘D’ Sports Association (WADSA) which concluded on January 15 at Kiruphema ground, Peducha, in Kohima district.
Sechü Zubza Youth Organisation (SZYO) won the football champion title, while Mengujuma Youth Organisation (MYO) secured the runners-up psotion.
Kiruphema Youth Organisation (KYO) won the first position in volleyball (Men), while Thekrejuma Youth Organisation (TYO) won the second position. In volleyball (women), SZYO won the champion title while TYO secured the runners-up.
MLA Keneizhakho Nakhro graced the closing ceremony as the guest of honour.
The function was chaired by WADSA former president Aletuo Kruse, while the vote of thanks was proposed by WADSA joint secretary Keneiletuo Sano.
It may be mentioned that the four-day meet, which began on January 12 was graced by Nagaland’s chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, as the special guest.
