Dimapur, June 21
Tenyimi Students’ Union of Mokokchung held its 17th general conference in the Town Hall of Mokokchung on June 21. The union was formed in 1998.
Speaking during the occasion, Parliamentary Secretary for Urban Development, Zhaleo Rio urged the students’ community to have determination and commitment to face the future. There is no short cut to success, he said, and asserted that one needs to “ponder upon what will become of oneself.”
The legislator asked the students not to feel discouraged by the unemployment problem that we face in the state today, saying that employment is not only about finding a government job “but one can achieve many things through hard work.”
