DIMAPUR — The
Zhadima Village Women Society (ZVWS) is set to celebrate its 50th anniversary
on December 31 at the Zhadima community hall from 10:30 am onwards.
ZVWS president, Zevizonuo Sanchu, informed that Viliebei-ü
Theünuo, pastoress of AG Church, Zhadima Basa, would attend the celebration as
the speaker.
Highlighting the significance of the milestone, Sanchu urged
all women members of the community residing across the state to attend the
celebration. She also urged all attendees to wear a piece of traditional attire
to honour the cultural heritage of the Angami tribe.
The ceremony would commence with a prayer by Kereisie-ü
Theünuo, followed by a congregational song led by Mhasizolie Metsei-o with Menuolhounuo
Sanchu as the pianist.
ZVWS general secretary, Neizonuo Soliezuo, would present a
brief history of the organisation and a moment of silence would also be
observed to pay tribute to the departed leaders of the women’s body.
Neilalhoulie Soliezuo, chairman of Zhadima village council,
would share greetings, while Roko Angami, VDB secretary, would exhort the
gathering.
The programme would conclude with a vote of thanks delivered
by Neitouü Khoubve.
