DIMAPUR — The All Black Club (ABC) defeated Team Medziphema (TM) in a tiebreaker in the first semi-final of the ongoing Autumn Cup at Medziphema on Thursday.
Aphrezo of Team Medziphema took the lead in the 15th minute with a well-placed strike. The lead was shaky, but TM managed to hold on.
TM appeared to be on track to advance to the finals until Vekuzo of ABC scored in the 53rd minute to ensure the match was not over. With the match ending in a tie, the ABC won the tiebreaker by a score of 4 to 1.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]Both Zeliangrong Village and Natak FC failed to find the net of their opponents in the second semi-final.
The midfield area was up for contention, with the game swinging both sides. At the end of regulated time, the score was 0-0 and proceeded to a tiebreaker. Zeliangrong won the tiebreaker with a score of 4 to 2.
Zeliangrong Village will now face off against the All Black Club in the final.
