Dimapur, July 6: The ‘FGN Zeliangrong region’ has vehemently condemned what it alleged was a “life attempt” on one R Joshua, a ‘leacy member FGN Zeiangrong region’ on June 30 at the Secretariat Colony in Kohima town.
A note from the group earlier this week appended by a K James, “Razoupeyu, Makhon sub-region” alleged that on said day at 8 pm, Gaidimchungpou, a son of one PG Biren, “midan peyu of Zeliangrong region (FGN)” and Lungthuipou, brigadier, “1st brigade Naga army, presently staying in Transit Peace Camp, Kohima” sent his bodyguards one David, “sgt. major, Naga army” and Thuanbamlung, “L/corporal Naga army with camouflage and short gun 9mm (pistol) to eliminate R Joshua.”
However, the release said, ‘by the grace of God, the shot bullet missed the victim. It said this kind of inhuman and terrorist activities spoiled the image of FGN Zeliangrong Region and also the image of the Transit Peace Camp, Kohima–peace loving and non-violence place.’
While coming out strongly against the incident, K James said it ‘will not tolerate this kind of terrorist activities, and asserted that it will not allow him to be the national worker of FGN Zeliangrong region.’
