DIMAPUR — The Zeliang Students' Union (ZLSU) has extended full solidarity and support to the Nagaland Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) Teachers' Association 2016 batch in their demand for immediate implementation of the prescribed pay scale, as directed by the courts.

In a press release, the union said that the continued delay despite court rulings in implementation is deeply disappointing and unjust, causing immense hardship to the teaching community.

It said that teachers are the backbone of education, and denying them their rightful dues is not only contempt of court but also an outright injustice that jeopardises the future of thousands of students in Nagaland.
