DIMAPUR — Zanübu Mission School, Khulazu Basa, conducted its Annual Games and Sports Meet 2026 from March 5 to the 6th, with the introduction of Traditional Wrestling under the aegis of the Chokri Area Wrestling Association (CAWA).
The programme was graced by Khrühüyi Keyho, assistant headmaster of Government High School, Khulazu Basa, as the guest speaker.
In his address, Keyho shared his experience of serving at Zanübu Mission School earlier as an assistant teacher and later as head teacher, while also serving Khulazu Basa Baptist Church as the superintendent of the children’s ministry. He said balancing the responsibilities was not easy but described those years as some of the most meaningful and rewarding moments of his life.

Encouraging the teachers, he recalled the words of a friend who once told him that there is a blessing in teaching as it is also a form of serving God, adding that many teachers who served in the institution had experienced God’s blessings in their lives.
Addressing the students, he urged them to study diligently, obey their teachers and parents, and fear the Lord. By doing so, he said they would grow into educated individuals and lead successful lives that inspire others. He also advised students to remain disciplined, avoid mischief and persevere in their studies, while upholding the spirit of fair play during the games and sports.
Meanwhile, the Chokri Area Wrestling Association sponsored prizes for the Traditional Wrestling events, which were organised in two categories — Category I (Classes II–V) and Category II (Classes A–I). The initiative aimed to encourage students to appreciate and engage with traditional sport and cultural heritage.
The school expressed gratitude to CAWA for sponsoring the prizes and thanked the guest speaker, well-wishers and sponsors for their contributions towards the success of the programme.
