Dimapur, March 12 (EMN): Zakiesato colony, Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) Ward No. 2 Council celebrated its 4th raising day.
Speaking on the occasion, council chairman, Kevi Zakiesato recalled how Ward No. 2 Council was formed four years ago for the welfare of the people and how it has been able to maintain unity in the colony. He said the motto of the council is to promote peace in the society and keep the people united.
Vice chairman, Khehoto Achumi, highlighted the achievements made during the last four years by the council, while the other vice chairman, Zulu Ao, briefed five important things the council had undertaken in the past years, which included replacement of damaged electric poles, road repairing works, facilitating ration cards to the colony people, Aadhar cards and loan facilities.
