YTC urges to maintain peaceful environment

Dimapur, June 9 (EMN): Yimchungrü Tribal Council (YTC) has urged all the Naga political groups to refrain from violent activities such as kidnapping and intimidation within its jurisdiction irrespective of different political affiliations in order to create a peaceful atmosphere in the interest of the Naga people. YTC information and publicity secretary, Matthew K Janger, stated that peaceful co-existence amongst the people and society is a pre-requisite for the uplift of the people. He has referred to the ENPO resolution of December 18, 2007, Tuensang Summit to cease all kind of unwanted anti-social activities leaving aside differences in the party affiliation. YTC called upon all the Nagas to work in unity so that the going political dialogue between the Government of India (GoI) and the Naga political groups is settled in a fruitful manner.
