The Friendship Spot of PWD Youth Organization and Midland Youth Organization, which was constructed near PWD Colony entry traffic point, was unveiled by the chairmen of PWD Colony Panchayat and Midland Colony Panchayat in the present of Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) Chief Executive Officer, Elizabeth Ngully November 17 in a simple function.Delivering short speech at the function, KMC CEO appreciated the noble joint endeavor of PWD and Midland Youth Organizations for the beautification and sanitization of Kohima town. She urged the youth to do more good things as she said youth can change the society.
Expounding on the sanitization activities carried out by the KMC with the Colony/Ward panchayat and the youth in order to keep the Kohima town a clean and healthy environment to live in, she appealed the every denizens of Kohima town to do something in our own kitchen, surrounding areas and colony.
Short speeches were also delivered by the chairmen of both colony panchayat and advisor of PWD Youth Organization at the function.
Earlier, the pastor of New Life Church, Azhato invoked the God blessing for the programme.
The programme was chaired by Teisozhavi Tetseo and the vote of thanks was delivered by John Tep, general secretary of PWD Youth Organization.
