
Officials of YouthNet giving away grant of INR 10 lakh each
to Electroprint Neyug Private Limited and Nagademy during a programme in
Dimapur on Wednesday.

Incubation Centre (YIC) has awarded grants of INR 10 lakh each to two emerging
startups under the Gen-Next Support for Innovative Startups (GENESIS) scheme,
an initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology
(MeitY).
- An update fromYouthNet stated that Electroprint Neyug
Private Limited and Nagademy were selected for the funding after a competitive
selection process, reinforcing the Government of India’s commitment to
fostering technological innovation and entrepreneurship in Tier-II and Tier-III
cities.
- It mentioned that Electroprint Neyug Pvt. Ltd. specialises
in affordable heating solutions aimed at improving cold-weather resilience
through printed flexible heaters and advanced applications, while Nagademy has
established itself as Nagaland’s first AI-powered mock test platform for UPSC
and NPSC preparation, making civil service coaching more affordable and
accessible through digital solutions.
- Nuneseno Chase, director of YouthNet, has congratulated the
selected startups on their significant contributions to the regional startup
ecosystem.
- “These grants recognise the startups’ innovative solutions
and their potential to drive meaningful change,” she said.
- The YouthNet director also mentioned that Electroprint Neyug
and Nagademy’s selection underlined the broader effort to elevate regional
startups to national and global competitiveness. She stated that their
selection highlighted the transformative potential of targeted support for
technological innovation and entrepreneurship in underserved regions.
- Neikepekho Shosahie, associate director (entrepreneurship)
at YouthNet, emphasised the importance of transparency and milestone-based
funding in supporting the startups’ growth.
- “The GENESIS scheme focuses on technology innovation in
areas such as electronics, IT, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things
and blockchain, while also addressing societal challenges in health, education,
agriculture and sustainability,” Shosahie said.
