KIPHIRE — The Youth Ministry of Kiphire Town Baptist Lithro (KTBL) organised a plantation drive on Monday morning at Sguel Abhioneach School campus, Kiphire.
Speaking at the event, KTBL youth director Yotsala Sangtam shared that the purpose of the drive is to promote the importance of sustainability and environmental care.
The initiative was warmly received by the school's proprietor, Pastor Alison, and his wife, who both appreciated the effort and showed their support. Alison praised the KTBL youth's initiative, encouraging them to keep ‘walking and working by faith.’

He noted the saplings planted today will grow into trees, providing shade, fresh air, and inspiration for future generations.
Over 20 youths from the KTBL Youth Ministry took part in the drive, led by their youth director. The activity not only focused on planting trees but also served as a moment to reflect on the role of humans in protecting nature, as taught by God.
Sguel Abhioneach School, established in 2017, currently has nearly 200 students and 18 teaching and non-teaching staff.
