Dimapur, March 14 (EMN): Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) Dimapur, in collaboration with Young People’s Fellowship (YPF), Burma Camp Dimapur, organised one-day training on youth leadership and development.
The United Nations Volunteer and Co-ordinator of the district NYKS, Phyobemo Lotha, encouraged the young people that this is an avenue for them to get trained in small ways, through varied activities which will ultimately help them become confident leaders tomorrow.
Alobo Naga, a renowned artist, in his speech encouraged the young people to become able leaders by identifying their gift and abilities groomed with hard work and faith in God.
K. Thenjamo Tsanglao, associate pastor of Lotha Baptist Church Dimapur, while speaking on the importance of personality development also reminded the gathering that aspiring to be a leader is a noble task.
The program concluded by a group discussion. A total of 30 youths participated in the programme.
