Dimapur, April 23 (EMN): With the motive to honour and receive blessings from elders, Yorübami Thinkers’ Forum organised “Pethimi Tüsozho” (Elders Day) cum free medical camp on April 22 at Yorüba village with attendance of 153 elders above 70 years.
The main speaker Director Children Ministry, Akash Deep, Arunachal, Zaseyi Veswüh exhorted the gathering and stressed about the usage of proper words for prayer. He appealed to the elders to continue building close relationship with God, for everything is possible through him. He also advised them to use encouraging words to boost child’s moral. He emphasized the life of elders the most precious gift and blessing to the village.
Veswüh appreciated the forum for organising the most valuable programme and adviced the younger generation to love and respect the elderly people and pray for their long life.
Vesolhu, VCC Yoruba village extended greetings while Rev. T.Phesao invoked God’s blessings for the program. Traditional blessing was pronounced by Eno. Pusayi Lohe, Rüna sekrüo (Village oldest person) while benediction by said by Rev. P. Lohe. A time of prayer exchange was held, led by the speaker.
The programme was followed by free medical camp organised with doctors and nurses from CHC Chozuba Town, PHC Dzulha and PHC Yorüba.
Meanwhile, Yorübami Thinkers Forum extended special thanks to the department of Health & Family Welfare, Dr. Vetsütsoyi Swüro and Dr. Khriezoto Paphino, Deputy Director (Medical) for providing medicines and Dr. Kusalhu Lohe for his valuable service.
