Dimapur, August 24 (EMN): Training under Year of Construction Workers (YOCW) for Longleng district began on August 21 at PBCA Centre.
Exhorting the participants that the programme is being organised to up-skill and re-skill, Chiden Yaden, Deputy Director of Directorate of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, urged upon them to learn from the resource persons with sincerity.
Introduction to YOCW was delivered by Richard Belho from Zynorique Initiatives, wherein he said that the programme is about building one’s own town and homes. He informed that after the training, participants will be skilled workers and will be certified Assistant Mason with 70% job placement.”
Y Nukhlu Phom, Executive Secretary of PBCA, gave a motivational speech.
Deputy Commissioner, Longleng, Y Denngann Avennoho Phom also spoke on how to develop and build one’s mind and hearts before they really start building any construction.
