Yimkhiung Akherü Arihako felicitates three ENSF leaders at Shamator

DIMAPUR — The Yimkhiung Akherü Arihako (YAA) held a felicitation programme in honour of three leaders of the Eastern Nagas Students' Federation (ENSF).

The leaders were Nuheymong Yimkhiung (president), C Athrong (assembly secretary), and Kihomong Yimchunger (advisor), who represented the Yimkhiung community in the ENSF.

According to a press release, the programme took place on August 30 at the YTC Hall, Shamator HQ.

The event was chaired by Rekheanshi, coordinator of YAA, with an invocation by Lato, associate pastor of youth at STBC. The welcome and keynote address were delivered by Keyoungkhum, president of YAA.

Short speeches were given by representatives from Mimi Village Students' Union, Mimi Village Council, and Yimkhiung Tribal Council, followed by speeches from Kihomong, advisor of ENSF, and Nuheymong.

A consecration prayer for the three leaders was pronounced by Dr. Rev. SJ Akhum, executive secretary of YBBA, followed by words of gratitude delivered by Kiuthrun C Yimchunger.

Representatives from various organisations, including YTC, YWO, YYO, YGOA, YGBA, YLAS, STPF, GBs & DBs, STSU, PACSU, and all 11 ward presidents of Shamator town, attended the event.
