MOKOKCHUNG — The
much-anticipated eight edition ofMokokchung AutoX and Sprint 2025, organised by the Adventure and
Motorsports Association (AMAM), is scheduled to be held on Jan. 17 and the 18th
at Yimchula , a tourist village in Mokokchung.
The event will showcase exhilarating races across three
competitive categories - open, below 1300, and SUV.It will feature the adrenaline-pumping AutoX
races on a gravel and dirt track (wet/dry) at the Sungratsu Sports Complex,
where racers will demonstrate their speed and skills.
Further, the event promises to ramp up the excitement with
sprint races on a challenging pure tarmac track (wet/dry), pushing participants
to their limits.
Categories and prize money
• Open category: INR 70,000 (1st place), INR 40,000 (2nd
place) and INR 30,000 (3rd place),
• SUV category: INR 40,000 (1st place), INR 30,000 (2nd
place) and INR 20,000 (3rd place)
To make the event even more interesting, AMAN has introduced
a brand-new feature - Open Motocross (local), giving the local racing community
a chance to showcase their talents.
The 8th Mokokchung AutoX and Sprint 2025 will also serve as
the second round for the North-East Championships 3.0 2025, drawing top racers
from across the region in a fierce battle for the championship title, the
organisers informed.

of motorsport, camaraderie, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. Racing
