Kohima, Dec. 15 (EMN): The working president of Naga People’s Front (NPF), Dr. Huskha Yepthomi, called upon the party men and women to contemplate the examples of Jesus Christ and be good Christians by doing services to the needy.
Speaking at the Pre-Christmas celebration at NPF central headquarters in Kohima on Wednesday, he said the "occasion is a good opportunity to celebrate advent Christmas to remember the Lord's birthday."
Yepthomi reminded how Christ came to the world and gave His life to redeem the sinners. "We may not be able to sacrifice our life for others but we can do good deeds to others," he said.
He went on to remind the party men and women to follow the examples of Christ by being sincere in their day-to-day activities in life and be committed to render services to the needy. He further challenged the gathering to serve and help those in need in the New Year 2022.
During the programme, classical music was performed by Ruokuolatuo, while a Christmas song was presented by Yanhola and group.
