Dimapur, Sep. 16 (EMN): Yemhi Memorial College (YMC), Dimapur, organised a one-day cleanliness campaign on the theme “Be clean, Be green, Be healthy” on September 16 along the link road connecting Lion’s Club junction to Metro Hospital point.
The cleanliness campaign was undertaken for the first time jointly organised by the College Anti Tobacco Committee (Be Healthy), Eco Club (Be Green) and NSS (Be Clean), aiming at creating awareness among the people and educate them on the importance of cleanliness.
The college was declared ‘tobacco free campus’ recently. It advocated curbing use tobacco substance especially among the student community.
The main objective behind organising the campaign was to let the students have sensible understanding on work culture.
