Yanmhon Area Public Organisation backs Lower Lotha Range Public Organisation on Foothills Road project
The Yanmhon Area Public Organisation has extended ‘full support’ to the statement issued recently by the Lower Lotha Range Public Organisation regarding the Foothills Road construction
- DIMAPUR — The Yanmhon Area Public Organisation
(YAPO) has extended ‘full support’ to the statement issued recently by the
Lower Lotha Range Public Organisation (LLRPO) in regard to the Foothills Road
construction.
- In a press release issued on Monday, YAPO expressed
gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio and Minister Road & Bridges G
Kaito Aye for providing the required fund, especially for the road stretch from
Merapani to Liphayan Doyang Bridge, which falls within the jurisdiction of YAPO.
- It also appreciated “the prompt initiative” of MLA Achumbemo
Kikon as regards the launch of construction in Yanmhon area on February 21.
- “From the day of launching the work by our MLA, the two
firms, M/S Chabou & Co. and M/S JK Construction, have placed all their
machinery and manpower and have been working on the ground; the progress of the
work is satisfactory till date.
- “The YAPO thanks all the affected landowners under its
jurisdiction for extending their cooperation for the smooth execution of the ongoing
work. YAPO also appeals to all stakeholders not to vitiate the good environment
which is prevailing under YAPO jurisdiction, as YAPO, along with LLRPO, will
take the responsibility of overseeing/checking the execution of the work under
its jurisdiction,” it stated.
