DIMAPUR — Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland, Yanthungo Patton, has extended his heartiest greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Christmas.
In a press statement, he stated that this season marks the birth of the Prince of Peace and serves as a time for everyone to come together in gratitude and love. He expressed his hope that the festivities would bring renewed hope and healing to every home across Nagaland.
The deputy CM noted that Christmas offers a special opportunity to forgive past differences and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood within the community. He encouraged the citizens to celebrate the festival by sharing with the less privileged and extending a helping hand to those in need.
He urged everyone to observe the occasion with the true spirit of humility and kindness and wished every citizen a safe and blessed celebration filled with harmony.

He prayed that the peace and joy of Christmas would remain with the people throughout the coming year.
The minority wing of the Naga Peoples’ Front (Central) has also extended Christmas greetings to all citizens.
In a greeting message, the minority wing stated that Christmas signifies God’s love, peace, and hope for humanity through the birth of Lord Jesus Christ.
The minority wing prayed that the “New Year brings harmony, unity, good health, and prosperity to all communities in Nagaland and urged the people to uphold the values of faith, compassion, and mutual respect for peaceful coexistence and collective progress.”
