Dimapur, Jan. 6 (EMN): Chinese tech giant Xiaomi on Thursday launched the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G and Xiaomi 11i 5G smartphones in India.
The two phones are renamed Redmi Note 11 Pro+ and Redmi Note 11 Pro phones that launched in China back in October 2021.
Both devices are powered by the same Dimensity 920 chipset along with 128GB storage and two RAM options: 6GB or 8GB RAM.

The Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G is priced at INR 26,999 for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and INR 28,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 11i 5G starts at INR 24,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant and INR 26,999 for the 8GB + 128GB option.
Both the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G and the Xiaomi 11i 5G comes with the same 6.67” Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution. There is Gorilla Glass 5 for protection along with a 16MP selfie camera on the front.
Both devices features the same triple camera setup including a 108MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide camera and 2MP telephoto macro lens. Both devices have an LED flash for low-light shooting.

The main difference between both devices is in the battery where the vanilla Xiaomi 11i 5G has a bigger battery than its sibling. The Xiaomi 11i 5G has a 5,160mAh with 67W fast-charging support as opposed to the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G's smaller 4,500mAh with support for 120W fast-charging.
Other notable features include Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 on top, a fingerprint scanner on the side for security, 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Both devices go on sale in India on Jan. 12 and will be availale in four colour options: Pacific Pearl, Stealth Black, Camo Green, and Purple Mist.
