Dimapur, March 22 (EMN): Western Sümi Baptist Akukuhou Küqhakulu (WSBAK) has organised a meeting of the Western Sümi Kükami (GBs) at Lalpahar Sümi Baptist Church, about 350 kms away from Dimapur on March 15.
There are six Sümi villages in Upper Assam of which Lalpahar is one of them. About 70 Kükamis attended the meeting on the theme “Righteous King” based on Proverbs 11:30, in which the speaker was Rev. Dr. Hevukhu Achumi, WSBAK executive secretary.
The delegates also visited Tinkupathar Sümi village, Longtong Sümi village, and Khelhoshe Memorial English School. The host village has appreciated WSBAK for organising the meeting.
Others who spoke during the meet included Shikuto Zalipu, NGBF general secretary; Vihuto Yeptho, WSKH president; and Hokheto Awomi, Upper Assam GBs’ Union president.
IN conclusion, executive secretary and staff of WSBAK blessed the Kükamis and prayed for divine guidance as they govern the people in their respective villages.
