
Balong Phom speaking on grievances redressal during a
workshop on Good Governance Week in Phek town on Friday.
- DIMAPUR — In
pursuance to the directive of the Department of Administrative Reforms &
Public Grievances, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension,
Government of India, a workshop on Good Governance Week was held at the
conference hall of the DC’s office in Phek on Friday.
- A DIPR report stated that the deputy commissioner (DC) of
Phek, John Tsulise Sangtam, delivered the welcome address, while the EAC of
Phek, Imnasenla Walling, chaired the programme.
- Vetsiyo Vero, district coordinator for CMHIS, spoke on the
implementations of CMHIS schemes covering INR 5 lakh and INR 20 lakh
respectively for public and government employees through a powerpoint
presentation during the workshop.
- It stated that Veyito Nyekha, district project assistant
under Education, also made a powerpoint presentation on the development
activities being undertaken by NECTAR projects in the district.
- The EAC of Phek, Balong Phom, also made a powerpoint
presentation on grievances redressal. He informed that public are permitted/
allowed for four days in a week with three hours a day to meet the deputy
commissioner for reporting and discussion on grievances being faced by the
public in the district, while Wednesday and Saturday are restricted days.
- The detailed presentations from medical, school education
departments and district administration was followed by a question and answer
session.
- The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by
Ruopfukuotuo Noudi, ADC of Phek.
