Ezung speaking during the workshop on cooperative audit and system audit at

- DIMAPUR — A four-day workshop on cooperative audit and
system audit, organised by the department of Cooperation got underway at
Cooperative Training Centre in Medziphema on Wednesday with the commissioner
secretary, Zarenthung Ezung, as the special guest.
- Speaking at
the workshop, the special guest highlighted the importance of conducting a
workshop on cooperative audit and system audit. He reminded the participants of
ICS and RCS to look at the scenario of cooperatives societies which have 8000
in total in all states, whereas 80% of the societies remained dormant or
non-functional. In this regard, he requested all the ICS and RCS to check all
non-functional strictly.
- He
emphasised that the department should play an important role to revive all the
dormant co-operative societies. He urged all the ICS present in the workshop to
perform well to keep up the image of the department as they are the auditor of
the department stating that all responsibilities lie to them.

- He assured
that the workshop would benefit everyone and should go down to the grassroots.
- The special
guest was accompanied by the general manager of NABARD Regional Office,
Dimapur, Pauliankap Bulte, and ADC of Medziphema, James Swu.
