DIMAPUR — The State Bank of India (SBI), Longleng Branch, organised a workshop on the Chief Minister’s Micro-Finance Initiative (CMMFI) to raise awareness among stakeholders at the VDB Hall in Longleng on Thursday.
During the workshop, the participants had an in-depth analysis of various projects and discussed additional documents required by the bank for smooth processing of loan proposals, wherein a checklist for each unit's proposals were provided to the departments, according to an update from the DIPR.
Representatives from the District Industries and Commerce (DIC), Fisheries, and Veterinary and Animal Husbandry departments, who attended the workshop, received valuable insights into the projects allocated under their respective departments and how funds could be used for the benefit of the local communities.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]The bank officials cleared queries and concerns raised by the participants, while the Veterinary and Animal Husbandry department presented an analysis of the projects. The projects and unit activities discussed during the event included piggery, fishery, dairy, goatery, poultry, homestay, and commercial vehicle ventures.
As many as 80 applicants participated in the workshop.
