Women on Wheels Season 4 team calls on Nagaland Governor

DIMAPUR — Participants of Amazing Namaste Foundation, Women on Wheels – Car Drive Season 4 – called on Governor of Nagaland Nand Kishore Yadav at Lok Bhavan, Kohima, on Tuesday.

During the interaction, the governor appreciated the initiative for promoting women empowerment through adventure and self-driven exploration and commended the participants for their courage, determination and spirit of companionship, a DIPR report stated.

Yadav highlighted the spirit of “unity in diversity,” stating that initiatives like this strengthen national integration by bringing people together from different states of India.

He encouraged the participants and lauded their enthusiasm.

Emphasising that women in India have long been empowered, he cited the example of Rani Laxmibai, noting that women are capable of achieving anything.

The governor also underscored the need to change perceptions about the Northeast and promote a deeper understanding of the region across the country.
