DIMAPUR — The Women Entrepreneurs Network of Nagaland (WENN) organised a series of workshops on regulatory business compliance and documentation on July 10, 12, and 14 in Dimapur, Niuland, and Peren districts, respectively.
According to an update supported by the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), the initiative aimed to equip women entrepreneurs with essential knowledge on business regulatory compliance, documentation procedures, and financial literacy.

Resource persons included officials from the District Industries Centre (DIC) and experienced entrepreneurs from Nagaland. The sessions witnessed participation from both aspiring and established women entrepreneurs.
It said that through interactive learning modules, peer discussions, and experience-sharing, participants gained practical insights into operating within formal frameworks and accessing government support for business development.
Topics covered included trade licence procedures, financial literacy for entrepreneurs, Udyam registration, FSSAI registration requirements, and government schemes for entrepreneurs.
These sessions simplified key legal and procedural requirements, empowering entrepreneurs to navigate formal business structures with confidence.
