One woman was taken into police custody for making fake sale deed/ agreement with the purpose to dupe innocent public. The woman was taken into police custody following an FIR was lodged at North Police Station, Kohima, by one public leader of Kezekie, North Block, Kohima, stating that his name and official seal were used for making fake sale deed/ agreement by a lady.Accordingly, police arrested one Smti. Salienei-ü Pienyü, wife of Dziezeneilie Pienyü of Kohima village. During house search, police recovered one sale deed/agreement; two round seals and official stamp seal of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima; one RGD (Registration) stamp seal; one stamp seal of Block Development Officer (RD Block Chiephobozou); one stamp seal of Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Kohima; one stamp seal of GB Middle Bayavu Colony, Kohima; and one stamp seal of GB North Block – 3, Kezekie, Kohima, from her possession.
During preliminary enquiry it was ascertained that the accused used to execute the fake sale deed/ agreement and dupe innocent public since 2013.
Regular case in this regard has been registered with North Police Station for conducting further investigation.
