Wokha prepares for Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan

• DIMAPUR — A coordination meeting was held at the DC conference hall in Wokha in preparation for the pre-monsoon national campaign 'Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan' (VKSA) on Wednesday.
• 
  
• The campaign, aimed at raising awareness of improved farming technologies and sustainable practices, will take place from May 29 to June 12, according to a DIPR report.
• 
  
• Deputy Commissioner Vineet Kumar presided over the meeting, which focused on planning and execution strategies to ensure effective implementation of VKSA activities in Wokha district.
• 
  
• The campaign will cover 108 villages in the district over 12 days. Three teams, each including one agricultural scientist, will visit nine villages per day, targeting a total outreach of 16,200 farmers.
• 
  
• VKSA aims to promote advanced farming techniques, encourage natural and climate-resilient agriculture, share information on government agricultural schemes, and facilitate direct interaction between farmers and scientists.
