Wokha police nabs two drug peddlers

Dimapur, Oct. 22 (EMN): Acting on specific inputs, the Wokha police personnel led by SDPO and officer in-charge of Wokha police station apprehended two drug peddlers and recovered 19 gram of suspected brown sugar, 649 capsules of Spasmo Proxyvon, 70 tablets of nitrozepam and 280 tablets of Alprozelom on October 22.

According to a DIPR report, the two accused persons were identified as Lichumo Ezung (33) from Longsachung village and Ethel Humtsoe (38) from Elumyo village.

The report stated that two separate cases have been registered under relevant sections of law for further investigation.
