Dimapur, July 2 (EMN): Youth ministry of Wokha Town Baptist Church (WTBC) observed the NBCC youth prayer day in all the four sectors, where thousands of enthusiastic youth attended their respective devotional service in traditional attires.

In the mother church, the programme was led by Chumbenthung Murry, Youth Director, while the message was delivered by Ms Meribeni Ngullie, women secretary LBES.
Ms Meribeni Ngullie, in her sermon, shared on the topic "Free from all evil," where she exhorted the youth to avoid worldly pleasures but to rededicate their lives to God. She also lamented how people misguide the youth and use them as their weapon.
She urged the churches to assist and guide the youth in rebuilding their faith toward God and to bring about changes in the society. To witness changes in society, she said youth have to play vital role in the coming State elections.
In Saron Sector Church, the programme was led by Zuchanthung Lotha, youth president, and the message was delivered by Mhonyamo Yanthan, while in Vungoju Sector Church, the programme was led by Renbemo Tungoe, youth in-charge, and the word of God was delivered by Tumben Odyuo, Lecturer WTC.
In NST Sector Church, the service was led by Ms K Ekonbeni, youth in-charge, and the message was delivered by Zurenthung Humtsoe, Associate pastor. A special prayer of blessings for the youth was offered in all the churches.
