DIMAPUR — Member of Nagaland Legislative
Assembly (MLA) and chairman of Wokha DPDB, YM Lotha, and advisor of Agriculture,
Mhathung Yanthan, along with the deputy commissioner of Wokha, Vineet Kumar;
superintendent of police, Wokha, M Rhovisie Nyumi; and head of various
departments visited Dr. Motsuo Memorial District Hospital (DMMDH) in Wokha town
on November 27 and held interaction with the staff of the hospital.
An update from the hospital stated that Dr. N Mhonchan
Kithan, medical superintendent of DMMDH, highlighted various healthcare
services such Ayushman Bharat and Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme
provided to the patients and also shared grievances of the hospital.
It stated that YM Lotha and Mhathung Yanthan have assured
all possible assistance to the hospital.
Dr. Nzanthung, pathologist, has highlighted on plan to set
up blood storage in the hospital, while Renjano, CDPO of Wokha, shared about
services provided to the public by the department in coordination with Medical
department.
The officials also visited ward and intensive care unit
(ICU).
Meanwhile, Dr. N Mhonchan has expressed gratitude to the
officials for visiting the hospital. He also thanked YM Lotha for blacktopping
the road within the hospital area.
