Dimapur, July 19 (EMN): In a welcoming development for the people of 37-Tyui Assembly Constituency under Wokha district, three Subsidiary Health Centres and a village gate were inaugurated on July 19.
Of the three Subsidiary Health Centres, Deputy Chief Minister and BLP leader Y Patton inaugurated the one at Old Riphyim while Minister for Health & Family Welfare S Pangnyu Phom unveiled the one at Yikhum, and Minister for PHED, Jacob Zhimomi inaugurated the facility at Nungying, informed an update issued by Deputy CM’s Media Cell.
Speaking at the inaugural function, Patton said that the creation of Sub-Centres would now help the people in the area access health care facilities. He also thanked Phom for bringing the Sub-Centres and looking into the health sector, particularly in his constituency.
The village gate at New Riphyim was inaugurated by Minister for Higher and Technical Education and BJP State unit president Temjen Imna Along.
While inaugurating the Yikhum Sub-Centre, the Health & Family Welfare minister encouraged the villagers to take ownership of the facility and take care of the Centre. He also expressed strong faith and confidence in the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Patton; the PDA government would complete full term and bring more development to the state.
Phom also visited PHC, Englan and interacted with the officials of medical department during which they apprised him of the problems they face; that they run PHC office from MO quarters due to lack of office building. The minister assured to look into the matter.
Jacob Zhimomi, who inaugurated the Sub -Centre at Nungying, told the gathering that the long cherished dreams of the villagers has become a reality through the initiative and under the dynamic leadership of Rio and Patton.
The team of ministers were accompanied by minister Kashiho Sangtam; Principal Secretary and Commissioner, Nagaland, M. Patton; Advisors Dr. Longrineken, Tovihito Ayemi, Kazheto Kinimi and Khehovi; and a host of government officials.
