Wokha District Football Association launches jersey for 24th Dr. T Ao Trophy

WOKHA — The Wokha District Football Association (WDFA) officially launched its team jersey on Friday ahead of the 24th Dr. T Ao Trophy, an inter-district football championship scheduled to be held in Kohima from August 1 to 12.

The launch event was graced by Renbomo Ezung, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Wokha, who commended WDFA for its commitment to promoting football among the youth. He encouraged the players to uphold sportsmanship, maintain discipline, and give their best on the field.

The event also featured a motivational message from Edward Ngullie, former President and current Advisor of WDFA, who lauded the players for their dedication and extended gratitude to the many donors—government departments, organisations, and individuals—who supported the team’s preparations.

A special jersey dedication was led by Pastor Zuben Ngullie of Police Baptist Church, Wokha.
