Wokha, August 4
The Wokha district has formed an entrepreneur association under the name and style Wokha District Entrepreneur Association-WDEA, with like-minded local entrepreneurs after hectic deliberation on June 15 last at Tourist Lodge, Wokha. The Search Committee after thorough scrutiny has submitted the list of office bearers on July 3 at Hotel Hornbill and it was approved by the members present with Noyingbemo Murry - president, James Tungoe - general secy, Aben Ngullie - finance secretary, Rentsamo Jami vice president (Adm) and Thunglamo as vice president (press).
The main aims and objectives of WDEA are to uplift, protect and avail the rights and benefits of the local business enterprises of the district by sharing ideas, thoughts and impart knowledge through entrepreneur skills & self-dependence and to expose them to the outer world to know more about the avenues and progress taken place in this present world in the field of entrepreneur set-ups.
The WDEA keeps a target upon the upcoming young trade interested persons to fully concentrate on self-earning & self-employment and to learn more on self-support keeping its motto “self help is the best help”.
The association further invited the educated un-employed youth to come forward in setting up-own project/units instead of hunting white-collar job alone, by envisaging the lines; “be a provider not a Job seeker”.
