Dimapur, Sep. 18 (EMN): Members of the Lotha Hoho, Lotha Eloe Hoho, Lotha Students’ Union, and the Wokha unit of the ACAUT and chairmen association a “surprise visit” to the district hospital, Motsuo Memorial Hospital on Sep. 18 today.
Interacting with the staffs on duty, it was learned that one gynaecologist was working at the district hospital. The organizations stated the need for additional doctors. The leaders of the groups have demanded from the authorities an additional gynaecologist for the district to fill for in the current practitioner in times of their absence besides emergency.
The doctors on duty were also requested to carry out their duties responsibly for the welfare of the people. They were also requested to make use of the hospital’s ‘machineries including ambulance for better accessibility and mobility.’
