Dimapur, March 7 (EMN): Wildlife Division, Dimapur organised one day training on handling and maintaining of tranquilizing gun at Nagaland Zoological Park on March 7.
An expert from Hi-Tech Advance Products, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, Upreti, imparted hands-on training on handling, maintenance and shooting using Dan-Inject Rifle Model JM.DB and Dan-Inject Rifle Model IM. The participants were also trained to gear up the executive staffs to meet the challenges posed by Human-Animal conflict, for animal rescue and operation and to tackle the issue of stray animals.
A total of 31 personnel officials and frontline staff from Wildlife Crime Control Unit, Intanki National Park, Nagaland Zoological Park, Singphan Wildlife Sanctuary and Kiphire Wildlife Division attend the training program.
