The Lotha Youth Hoho would like to mention some of the reasons as to why T. R. Zeliang should step down from the Chief Ministership.
1. The blind initiative for Nagaland Special Development Zone (NSDZ) by the DAN Govt. led by T. R. Zeliang is a treacherous attempt to sell out the lands of Nagas to dubious elements.
2. Unduly protracting the payment of Scholarship to Students creating unnecessary harassment to the Students’ Community.
3. Non- payment of salaries to the Teachers and the unmatched harassment melted out to them by the government using water canon instead of paying them their due salaries is an act of tyranny.
4. For having a doubtful and controversial educational degree as a leader.
5. Despotical and unmandated inclusion of Rongmai Tribe as Nagas of Nagaland which has resulted to hue and cries from the entire sections of Nagaland.
6. The construction and inauguration of Rani Gaidinliu Memorial Library at Kohima despite staunch oppositions from various stake holders of the state since Gaidinliu is irrelevant to the Nagas of Nagaland.
7. The DAN Govt. led by T. R. Zeliang had imposed CrPC 144 at Tssori Champang Oil Fields under Wokha Zone on the 21st July 2014, to launch the controversial MOGPL Company for extraction of P&NG against the rights and wishes of the people.
8. Wilful violation of the Act of NLA made in 1990 on Ownership and Transfer of Land and its resources while framing NP&NG rules and regulations 2012.
9. The case of Fuel adulteration and misuse of PDS are glaring examples of corruptions under his leadership.
10. The chaos and discontentment created out of 33% Women Reservation and the Nagaland Municipal Act 2001 resulting in the loss of 3 precious lives and injuring 9 people.
11. For the complete failure of State Machinery and the rule of lawlessness in the State.
The above activities of T. R. Zeliang led DAN Govt. justifies the stand of the Lotha Youth Hoho in demanding his resignation.
