Dimapur, march 18 (EMN): A community organisation of the western Angami people is optimistic that the newly elected members of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly and the new state government led by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio would “collectively make all out endeavor to usher in a new era.”
The Western Angami Public Organization issued a press release on Sunday. The organisation congratulated the newly instated People’s Democratic Alliance government led by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, and Nagaland Legislative Assembly’s speaker Vikho-o Yhoshü, and all the elected members ‘with special reference’ to Keneizhakho Nakhro, representing the 8-Western Angami assembly constituency.
The organisation stated: “At a time when the conscience of the Nagas seems to have been beset by a battle of inner conflict between spiritual willingness and fleshly weakness of the society, and the meaning of the truth itself is so much abused in the garb of defending the truth, we believe Naga society has not run out of hope and feel confident that the newly elected members would collectively make all out endeavor to usher in a new era and in making a better Nagaland.”
The community organisation has wished the elected members ‘more success’ and said to be praying for guidance of the Almighty God in their service to the people.
