WENN Bazaar 2025 in Chümoukedima generates INR 70 lakh in revenue

DIMAPUR — The fourth edition of the WENN Bazaar concluded on October 4 at CT Square, Chümoukedima, on the theme “Creating a sustainable networking space for women entrepreneurs”.


According to an update, the three-day event, held from October 2 to the 4th, brought together 111 women-led enterprises from across Nagaland, attracted over 10,000 visitors, and generated a consolidated revenue of INR 70 lakh—surpassing expectations and marking a major milestone in advancing women’s economic empowerment in the region.


Organised annually by the Women Entrepreneurs Network Nagaland (WENN), the bazaar aimed to accelerate women’s economic empowerment, advance business literacy, encourage continuous learning and innovation, build strategic networks and collaborations, and celebrate indigenous talent and creativity.

It was stated that the event successfully met its objectives, delivering tangible outcomes for participating entrepreneurs and contributing significantly to the state’s economic growth. The bazaar supported over 405 employments through the efforts of the women entrepreneurs and provided opportunities for women-led brands.


Beyond business, WENN Bazaar featured seven hands-on workshops across diverse entrepreneurial topics, on-the-spot registration for FSSAI and Udyam in partnership with RAMP under the Department of Industries and Commerce, a surprise bridal fashion show by Kats Collection, and a flash mob performance by students of St. Joseph University, Chümoukedima.


The event was made possible through the support of the Department of Industries and Commerce, Toyota, North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd. (NEDFi), Indian Oil Corporation, Department of Women Resource Development, CT Square (venue partner), State Institute of Hotel Management (SIHM) (hospitality partner), and Synergy Group Enterprise (production partner).
