Dimapur, March 15 (EMN): Director, Agriculture, Heilie Rupreo, inaugurated the Wednesday bazaar at Pughoboto town, on March 15.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, he stressed on the importance of understanding the rates of the commodities in the market and also urged the villagers to exploit the production of agricultural potential of the areas. He further assured that the Department would try their best to provide assistance towards construction of marketing shed in Pughoboto.The project was launched through the initiative of the district administrators, headed by ADC Avelu Ruho to improve the local economy and empowerment of womenfolk in the sub-division.
The function was attended by SDO Civil Er. Namang Chang, EAC Ghathashi Sulanthung, EAC Selemla, members of the Pughoboto Adoc Town Council, Sumi Totimi Hoho, DBs, GBs and other officials.
