Weather forecast for Nagaland: Heavy rainfall, thunderstorm expected

Dimapur, July 5 (EMN): The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast fairly widespread to widespread rainfall activity over the East and the Northeast India during the next five days.

In its weather summary and forecast bulletin, the IMD stated that thunderstorm with lightning would be witnessed at isolated places over several places including north-eastern states of Nagaland, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on July 6.

Heavy rainfall has been forecast at isolated places in several states like Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sikkim, Assam and Meghalaya on July 8 and the 9th.

The weather outlook from July 10 to the 12th also forecast fairly widespread to widespread rainfall with isolated heavy falls over the Northeast, East and adjoining Central India and along the West coast; scattered to fairly widespread rainfall over Northwest, West and Peninsular India and Islands.
